The Dorset LTA, based at West Hants, needed a better vehicle to present Dorset information to the Dorset tennis community. An independent website (one which was not a fixed style and embedded within the main LTA website). Creating a standalone website offered many opportunities which are not available when managed centrally by a governing body.

The website wanted to engage more with coaches and offer easier access to competitions which were Dorset based.

Having an independent website, also allowed for the DLTA to reconnect with the Dorset community of clubs – setting up a club locator for newcomers to the sport to find the nearest club to where they are. Blog, social media interaction, image galleries and resources are now all within the reach of the DLTA to administer, edit and update with the freedom and accessibilty of their own content management system.
